The Building Industry Association and its homebuilders are at the forefront of the debate on housing issues facing Los Angeles and Ventura counties. We understand that building new homes is a vital part of building strong and integrated communities. With new homes come new schools, new fire stations, new roads and new parks. Furthermore, the creation of vibrant communities helps generate jobs and revenue that help fund important city services. In doing so, the BIA and homebuilders are committed to meeting the demand by creating communities that families are proud to call home.
To accomplish this goal, the BIA is working to promote a business climate that cuts through the red tape, encourages lower costs, and increases the use of efficient regulations. By working with government and community organizations like HomeAid, the Building Industry Association is proud to be taking the lead in meeting the needs of our residents and families who are not only looking for quality homes and vibrant communities, but also value community resources, like open space, the environment and parks for our families to enjoy.
To reach this goal, the BIA and homebuilders are dedicated to working alongside elected officials, community leaders and organizations to find credible solutions for the burgeoning population looking for affordable housing and quality communities throughout our region.
