BIA/LAV TEAM
Holly Schroeder, Chief Executive Officer
Holly Schroeder joined the Los Angeles Ventura Chapter of the BIA (BIA/LAV) as chief executive officer in 2005. In this role, she oversees the day-to-day operations for the chapter, including long-range planning, member services, community partnerships and communications outreach. She is focused on building and expanding on the chapter’s public affairs efforts and developing new outreach opportunities to address issues that affect the home building industry and, at the same time, increase BIA/LAV’s recognition and influence. Previously, Schroeder was with the Oregon Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ), where she was responsible for managing the agency’s Water Quality Division. She worked for the DEQ for nearly a decade in various roles, including organization improvement coordinator for the agency’s Management Services Division and policy manager. Schroeder also worked for Waste Management Inc. in a variety of positions, including environmental compliance and policy development. Born and raised in Ohio, Schroeder has a bachelor’s degree in chemistry and French from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, and a master’s degree in applied information management from the University of Oregon.
 Maile Imig , Membership & Events Manager
As the Events Manager for BIA/LAV, Maile Imig is responsible for all event related planning and execution, as well as managing the membership for teh LAV Chapter. She manages and oversees the various committees and works closely with our members, which is vital in the day to day operation of the chapter. She is also in charge of all email blast communications.
A graduate of Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, Maile received her B.A. degree in Communications and Fine Arts. Previously, Maile was the Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Enkeboll Designs, a high end wood carving manufacturer. She also worked on several shows for Paramount Pictures, helping to develop story lines and edit material for broadcast.
 Linda Tafoya, Membership & Events Coordinator
As the Membership & Events Coordinator for the BIA/LAV Chapter, Linda manages the Membership database for the chapter and updates the BIA-LAV chapter website. She oversees the weekly Member Blueprint e-Newsletters and weekly Calendar blasts and is the point-person for the members only website. Linda also handles all event registrations, as well has co-manages the on-site registratons at BIA/LAV events.
A graduate of California State University Northridge, Linda has a B.A. in Education. Previously, she worked for 8 years as Office Manager/Executive Assistant to the Division President of KB Home, LA/Ventura Division.
